Q. Is your agency licensed?

A. Yes, Carestaff Ohio Home Health Services is licensed. Unlike other home care agencies and providers, Carestaff Ohio Home Health Services is ACHC accredited and maintains licenses from state and federal authorities. Copies of these official recognitions are available upon request.

Q. Are your caregivers insured and bonded?

A. Yes, Carestaff Ohio Home Health Services caregivers are bonded, licensed and insured. Also locally owned, operated and not affiliated with any large corporation or franchise.

Q. How are your caregivers screened and trained?

A. Caregivers employed at Carestaff Ohio Home Health Services are thoroughly screened and must meet our strict guidelines for employment, such as prior experience, an unrestricted driver’s license and automobile insurance for field positions. Additional certifications are required for patient care positions. All caregivers are required to provide references, and must also pass a competency exam. Only caregivers who pass our in-depth screening process, orientation and training are employed by Carestaff Ohio Home Health Services.

Q. Will I be able to reach a caregiver after hours? If so, how can I contact someone after hours?

A. We maintain on call access to staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If a caregiver fails to show due to illness or an emergency, our on call staff will assist you in providing coverage.

Q. How quickly can I arrange for service?

A. Immediately. From the moment of intake, care begins.

Q. Do you require a commitment to a minimum of hours and days a week in order to provide care?
